1 pound ground pork

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon chili oil (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon sugar

1 package wonton wrappers

1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Dipping sauce (soy sauce mixed with a splash of rice vinegar and chili flakes)

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped green onions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until everything is fully combined.

    Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.

      Using your finger, brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with a bit of the beaten egg to help seal.

        Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal tightly. To create a more decorative shape, bring the two outer corners of the triangle together and pinch to seal.

          Repeat the process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling until all are filled.

            In a large pot, bring water to a gentle boil. Carefully drop in the filled wontons in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Cook for about 4-6 minutes, or until the wontons float and the pork is cooked through.

              Use a slotted spoon to remove the wontons and transfer them to a plate.

                Serve the spicy pork wontons warm with the dipping sauce on the side. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves for added flavor and presentation.
