Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup bourbon-flavored sauce (non-alcoholic)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Take the ribeye steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This promotes even cooking.

Season: Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and generously season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, loosely covered with foil.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn).

Add Cream and Flavors: Pour in the heavy cream and bourbon-flavored sauce, stirring to combine. Add the Dijon mustard and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly. Stir occasionally.

Season Sauce: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed with salt and pepper. If you prefer a kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Serve: Slice the rested steaks against the grain and place them on serving plates. Generously spoon the bourbon garlic cream sauce over the steak.

Garnish: Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top for a burst of color and freshness.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 2

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the steak on a wooden cutting board or a rustic plate to enhance visual appeal. You can accompany with garlic mashed potatoes or steamed asparagus for a complete meal.
