Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)

1/4 cup green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season both sides of the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board, loosely covered with foil.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and reduce heat to medium. Add the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and let it reduce slightly for about 2-3 minutes. Then, add the diced bell peppers and Worcestershire sauce to the mixture.

Combine: Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and mix well, allowing the sauce to coat the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Serve: Slice the steaks against the grain and place them on a serving platter. Spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the top, and sprinkle with sliced green onions and chopped parsley for garnish.
