Ingredients
  

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 cup milk (any type: dairy or non-dairy)

1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder

1 tablespoon hot water

Ice cubes (optional)

Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and honey (or maple syrup). Blend until smooth to create a strawberry puree. Set aside.

    In a small bowl, whisk the matcha green tea powder with 1 tablespoon of hot water until well mixed and frothy.

      In a separate container, heat the milk until warm (but not boiling). You can also foam the milk if desired.

        In a glass, pour a layer of the strawberry puree at the bottom, filling about one-third of the glass.

          Carefully pour the warm frothed milk over the strawberry layer, filling the glass to two-thirds full.

            Gently add the whisked matcha mixture on top of the milk layer. You can create a marbled effect by slightly swirled it with a spoon.

              If desired, add ice cubes to create an iced version of this latte.

                Top with whipped cream for an indulgent treat and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
