Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Add the chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes to the cream cheese mixture and fold until well combined.

Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast by cutting horizontally but not all the way through.

Stuff each chicken breast with the cream cheese filling, ensuring they are well packed.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, carefully add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Top each chicken breast with shredded Swiss cheese before transferring the skillet to the preheated oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4
