Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and thyme, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Create the Sauce: Lower the heat, then pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the garlic butter. Allow it to simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Cheese: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Stir in the lemon juice and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Combine: Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the steak bites to a serving dish, drizzling with any remaining sauce.
