Ingredients

1 large French baguette

1 lb beef ribeye, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz provolone cheese, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the thinly sliced ribeye to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked to your liking. Stir frequently.

Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the inside to create a well for the filling.

Place the beef and vegetable mixture evenly inside the baguette halves.

Lay the slices of provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture.

Wrap the assembled baguette in aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, unwrap, and let it cool slightly.

Slice the cheesesteak bread into portions and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
