Ingredients

1 fresh baguette

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the baguette diagonally into ½ inch thick slices. This will give each piece more surface area for toasting.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Spread a generous amount of the garlic herb butter mixture onto each slice of baguette.

Place the slices on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered slices of baguette.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the toasted baguette slices on a wooden board or a colorful platter, with a small bowl of olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side for dipping.
