Ingredients
2
cups
milk (or any non-dairy alternative)
2
teaspoons
black tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
1
tablespoon
vanilla extract
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
2
tablespoons
honey (or to taste)
a pinch
salt
Optional: Whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it just starts to steam. Be careful not to boil it.
Once the milk is heated, add the black tea leaves (or tea bags) and let it steep for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After steeping, remove the tea leaves or bags and reduce the heat to low.
Add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, honey, and a pinch of salt to the milk. Stir well to combine the ingredients.
Continue to heat for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
Pour the Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea into cups and top with whipped cream if desired. Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.
Notes
Adjust sweetness with honey to taste. Whipped cream is optional for garnish.
