Ingredients

2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 tablespoon loose leaf black tea (or 1 black tea bag)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon dried rose petals (edible)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of salt

Fresh rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Tea: In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the loose leaf black tea and dried rose petals. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes for a stronger flavor. Use a strainer to remove the tea leaves and rose petals.

Heat the Milk: In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until just steaming, avoiding boiling. You can also froth the milk if desired using a frother or whisk.

Combine Ingredients: In the saucepan with the brewed tea, stir in the vanilla extract, honey (or maple syrup), ground cinnamon, and a PINCH of salt for balance. Mix well until the honey is fully dissolved.

Mix the Latte: Pour the hot milk into the tea mixture, stirring gently to combine. If you have frothed the milk, scoop the foam on top for added texture.

Serve: Pour the latte into your favorite mug. Garnish with fresh rose petals and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon on top if desired.
