1 cup granulated sugar

4 cups water, divided

1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup cranberry juice (for color and flavor)

1/4 teaspoon pink food coloring (optional)

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    Add 2 cups of water to the lemon mixture and stir well.
