Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked spinach, chopped (can use frozen, thawed and drained)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles according to the package instructions.

Place a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly around the filling, tucking in the edges to secure the filling inside.

Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each roll.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
